CALLED TO GOSSIP THE GOSPEL

From Campus to the Community, Ndejje University Christian Union's  Days of Light in Adjumani. The air has been thick with excitement and a deep sense of purpose as a team from Ndejje University Christian Union (CU) has embarked on a life changing mission trip to the heart of Northern Uganda in Adjumani District. Trading the lecture halls for the long roads, these students are driven by a single, powerful calling to serve and share the transformative Word and love of God with the people of Adjumani.

The Call to Adjumani
Adjumani is a district known for its diverse ethnic groups and its role as a host to many refugee settlements, presents a unique landscape for ministry. For the Ndejje CU team, this isn't just an outreach, it is an act of obedience, a practical demonstration of faith that goes beyond the university walls. Their mission is clear, to sow seeds of hope, preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and engage in compassionate service.
Breaking Ground and Building Bridges
The initial days are whirlwind of settling in and establishing connections. The team is partnering with local churches and community leaders, understanding that sustainable ministry requires collaboration and respect for local culture.

 Door-to-Door Evangelism
The students fearlessly are venturing out, sharing personal testimonies and the message of salvation with families in their homes. It is a time of genuine one-on-one connection often leading to profound prayer moments.

 Children’s Ministry
The vibrant energy of Adjumani's children is another amazing highlight. The team organizes Bible lessons, songs and games creating a joyful safe space where the kids can learn about God's love.

Community Service
Practical acts of service such as clean-up drives and helping with minor infrastructure tasks, open opportunities for the people of Adjumani to listen to the word of God and this is showing the community that Christian messages are accompanied by tangible care to serve the people as Jesus Christ did in the book of Mark 10:45.

Equipping, Worship and Transformation with Open-Air Crusades
The middle of the week is focused on larger gatherings and deeper discipleship with great praise and worship from the team ministering in songs to the community.  There's also powerful open-air meetings where many gather to hear the preaching of the Word, which is often followed by mass prayers for healing, deliverance and commitment to Christ. The atmosphere is charged with fervent worship and the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit.

Leadership Training
Recognizing the need for continuity, the team holds sessions for local youth and church leaders, equipping them with tools for Bible study, effective ministry, and leadership skills. This investment is key to ensuring the spiritual growth continues long after the mission team departs.

 Testimonies of Faith
Many individuals from the community, touched by the message and the selfless service of the students come forward to share how their lives are being changed. These moments serve as a huge encouragement to the entire Ndejje CU team validating their sacrifice.

Leaving a Legacy of Love

The final day is one of reflection and farewell. A thanksgiving service will be held celebrating the new believers and the renewed spiritual fervour in the community.
The true success of the trip isn't measured in the miles travelled or the hours spent, but in the lives transformed and the lasting relationships gotten. Ndejje CU students left their university physically and spiritually recharged, having witnessed firsthand the global impact of the Gospel, they not only take light to Adjumani but also gain a deeper more mature understanding of their faith and purpose.
